Wainui Beach
Wainui Beach at Raglan is a beach break on a sandy beach. There are various peaks to choose from along the beach. The wave offers both right and left handers, and can get good hollow barrels with a bit of power. Best on a higher tide. Good for beginners to expert surfers.

From Hamilton head west on Whatawhata Road State Highway 23, all the way to Raglan. In Raglan you will enter on Main Road, which then turns into Bow Street. Continue to the first roundabout and turn left onto Bankart Street, then turn left at the next roundabout onto Wainui Road. Continue on Wainui Road a little further then turn right onto Wainui Reserve Road. Find a park at the end of the road at Wainui Reserve and walk out onto the beach.
