Albatross Point
Albatross Point is a group of four left-hand point breaks along a row of rocky points, located south of Kawhia Harbour near Arohaki Bay. You must have permission to cross land to access the bay or take a boat out from the harbour. Albatross Point needs a huge swell to bend around the point and reach the bay. The waves reel off with several sections with which to play. Wally, punchy waves and hollow barrel sections too. Leave this break to the experts. Caution: History of extreme localism.
