Description:

Riverton Rocks is located in Taramea Bay at Riverton. Its a right hand point break along the rocky point, into a beach break on the sandy beach. Requires a large swell to get working. The best spot is the right hand point which can give a nice long ride when on. There is also the beach break with several peaks along the beach, featuring both right and left handers. Usually soft but fun waves. Good for all levels of surfer. It gets colder down this area, so wear plenty of rubber.
