Directions
From Wellington head north out of the city on State Highway 1. Turn left where the signs point to Porirua, still on State Highway 1. Continue past Porirua and Paremata, then turn left onto Steyne Ave past the Paremata train station. Turn left onto Beach Road, which continues onto Sunset Parade then Moana Road, then Hongoeka Bay Road. Find a park at the end of the road. Its then a walk past the Marae to the break. You may need permission to cross the land at the Marae.
