Propellers is a nice long, right hand point break on the rocky point at the Wahine Memorial Park. The wave has a solid, hollow drop in, with a wally, fat barrel. Popular spot, respect the locals. Leave this one to the experts. Careful around the rocks.

From Wellington City, head south east on State Highway 1. Continue past Wellington Airport onto Stewart Duff Drive, then turn left onto Moa Point Road. Continue round the end of the peninsula, to the Wahine Memorial Park, where the Big propeller from the Wahine is on display. Find a park at the memorial Park.
