Goat Island is a right hand point break on a rocky beach, located just north of Leigh, on the east coast north of Auckland. The break is between Goat Island and the main land. The wave is hollow with steep drop ins and barrels on offer. Leave this one to the experts. Popular beach so know the rules and respect the locals.

Directions: 
Goat Island is located just north of Leigh, on the east coast north of Auckland. From Auckland, head north on Auckland Northern Motorway, State Highway 1, over the Auckland Harbour Bridge. At Warkworth turn right onto Sandspit Road, then left onto Matakana Road. Continue straight onto Leigh Road, continue onto Hauraki Road. Turn left onto Seatoun Ave, then left onto Pakiri Road. Turn right onto Goat Island Road down to the beach.
