Takapuna South Reef
Takapuna South Reef is a reef break on the rock shelves at the south end of Takapuna Beach. The break has both right and left handers, offering good fun waves with a bit of power. Gets really crowded, so know the rules and respect the locals. Good for surfers of all levels.

From Auckland, head north on Auckland Waiwera Motorway State Highway 1. Take the exit and turn right onto Esmonde Road, then left onto Barrys Point Road, then right onto Anzac Street. Turn right onto Lake Road at the round about, then turn left onto Hauraki Road, down to the beach.
