Hariki Beach
Hariki Bay is a beach break on a sandy beach, located just south of Te Kaha. There are several peaks along the beach to choose from with both right and left handers. The wave is soft and fat, good for learners. Good for all levels of surfer.

From Whakatane head east through Opotiki and change from State Highway 2 onto State Highway 35. Take this all the way along the coast past Omaio Bay to Hariki Bay, not far before Te Kaha.
