Tolaga Bay
Tolaga Bay is a beach break on a sandy beach, with a river outlet and a right hand bar break on the south side of the river mouth. The beach break is a short fast wave, that often closes out. The bar break at the south end of the bay offers both right and left handers, although the right hander is much longer. Its a hollow or wally wave wave giving good rides. When its big you can jump off the old old wharf at the south end of the bay to get out the back. This is one of the few bays that can be sheltered in a southerly wind. Good for surfers of all levels, better for more experienced surfers.
