Big Ning Nong is a left hand point break, out near the end of Cape Palliser, before you get to Black Rocks. There are several breaks on the same point with different names for each wave, Raspberries, Little Ning Nong, Big Ning Nong and Craps. Little Ning Nong is the Left point closer to shore, with Raspberries even closer on the inside, Craps is the A frame on the point, and Big Ning Nong is the Outer Reef which breaks on big swells. Big Ning Nong is the Big Left hander out the back past Craps, that only works on a big swell, over about 6ft. When its working Big Ning Nong is a big powerful wave, with a solid drop in and you ride it right through Craps and Little Ning Nong to the shore. It will have a range of sections on the way through, from fat wally sections, to Barrels. Best for advanced to expert surfers.
