CC's
CC's is a beach break and river mouth on a sandy/shingle beach, located at Conway Flat, south of Kaikoura. There are several peaks along the beach with both right and left-handers. The Conway River Mouth can also get quite good. The wave is hollow, with a steep drop-in, and barrels on offer. Good for intermediate to expert surfers. River mouths often have strong currents or rips.

CC's is located at Conway flat, south of Kaikoura.
From Kaikoura, head south on State Highway 1. Go over the Hundalee Hills, then turn left onto Claverley Road. Turn right onto Conway Flat Road along to the beach. You can check a few spots along here for different peaks, or the river mouth. You can also stay on Claverley Road to check the north side of the Conway River.
