Blue Duck is located just north of Mangamaunu at the Blue Duck Stream, north of Kaikoura.
From Kaikoura, drive north on State Highway 1 for about 20mins. Continue just past Mangamaunu to the Blue Duck Stream, then turn left onto Blue Duck Valley Road to park. Cross the railway tracks to the beach.
