Ahu Ahu is a sand beach with a left hand point break along the rocks at the west end of the beach and a right hand point break along the rocks at the east end of the beach. The waves are both fast and hollow, providing good rides. Suitable for all surfers.

Directions: 
From New Plymouth head south west on Devon Street West, then onto South Road, The surf Highway, State Highway 45. Continue through Oakura, turn right onto Ahu Ahu Road, down to the end of the road.
