Crushers is a beach break on a stoney/rocky beach. There several peaks along the beach, with both right and left handers. A very exposed break, picking up strong winds and big swells. When its on, the wave is good and punchy. Good for intermediate to expert surfers.

From New Plymouth head south west on South Road, The surf Highway, State Highway 45. Go through Warea and turn right onto Bayly Road or Pungarehu Road, then drive along Coast Road and find the beach breaks just on the north side of the left hand point, Fin Fuckers.
