Waverly is a right hand point break and a beach break on a sandy beach. The right hand point is at the western end of the beach. The wave is punchy and hollow. Good for all levels of surfer. Features caves and arches at the east end of the beach.

From Wanganui head north on London Street, Great North Road, State Highway 3. At Waverly turn left onto Oturi Road, then continue onto Waverly Beach Road, down to the beach. Drive west or east along Waipipi Road in seach of a good peak, with the best break to the west.
