From Kaitaia travel north on State Highway 1 all the way to Waitiki Landing. At Waitiki Landing turn right and head north east on Te Hapua Road. Road turns to gravel. Turn left onto Spirits Bay Road and continue north to Kapowairua, Spirits Bay. Walk down the beach to find a good peak.
